In 1999, The Unity Scholarship Fund began as the vision of Bishop Willie H. Hardmon Jr. 

The purpose of the fund is:

• To encourage students to continue with their education

• To help students get started who may otherwise feel that they would not be able to continue

• To promote educational awareness

• To encourage students to give back to their communities of themselves and what they have learned

• To help provide information about other scholarship availability

     The Scholarship Fund is supported by the donations of the church membership, outside donations and several fundraisers that take place during the year.

     The fund assists those graduating high school seniors who are members of Unity Tabernacle and who continue on with their education.

     The student must be accepted into a 2 - 4 year college or certificate granting program.  Monies are sent to the bookstore of the college or program that the student has been accepted into for the purchase of books and supplies.

     The Scholarship Fund is dedicated to helping our students throughout their college experience, realizing that it takes more than just monetary support to make it through to the finish.
