      Unity Tabernacle Church History

     In June of 1991, the Lord spoke to Minister Willie H. Hardmon Jr.  telling him to come out of the church he was attending, (People's Church of God in Christ), and to start his own ministry.  Being obedient to the call of God, he left his church.  Minister Hardmon was allowed to have services on Monday and Thursday evenings at St. Paul Church in Dorchester. 

    The church was started, and one by one God, not man, began sending people to worship within the church.  Within six months the church moved to 732 Blue Hill Avenue and God began to send even more people.  Two years lager the church moved to 2149 Washington Street in Roxbury. 

    The church continued to move on and after three years God opened the doors for the church to be at its present location at 2 Greendale Road in Mattapan, MA.  God is continually moving within the church and Pastor Hardmon has been elevated to Bishop.
